I was working on wiring up the shore power to the fuse panel and my neighbors came over... 4+ hours later and the only thing different is empty beer cans Fuck... I really wanted to get more shit done.

Switched up the way I will store water. Going to Scepter 5 gallon jerry cans. Added silicone o-rings to prevent leakage when on their side. That green jerry can holder is .mil. I've sanded it down and gave it a Steel-It paintjob. I will be welding on a locking piece that prevents theft and people fucking with the water. Got the solar panels connected to the charge controller and it to the Blue Seas fuse block. Also connected one of the batteries and the shore charger. Shore power is set at Lithium output so it charges with a little higher voltage. Just too damn hot.. got enough done for me to count it.

I've found my 5lb tank and hose is quite handy. Let me know how well that tank fits in the mount.

Fits great. I need to go get it filled but will wait until I am done working back here. I did order a dust cover for the outlet, keep crap out.

Probably going to move the propane mount back towards the tailgate about a foot. But it will work!

That's Mr Asshole to you
I now have a decent pile or parts for my rig. Nothing exciting, mostly switches and new headlights. I'm putting mine off till it cools down. Don't feel bad if you do the same.

Not a whole lot done over the weekend. Managed to get interior 400 watt inverter hooked up. Got the second LiFePo battery installed and wired in parallel. Got the two large bus bars connected. Got the passenger side rear power panel hooked up. Tested the compressor by filling up some mtn bike tires. I do have a slow leak in the air system, not bad enough for me to care at the moment. Will probably piddle around some more this evening, the wiring really needs to be tidied up, it is a rats nest.

Got some seat riser things installed with aluminum molle panel in the front. I did the front and rear riser at the same height. Man it makes seating feel so much better. Put a QR fire extinguisher in front of each seat. I need to trim up the hose clamps a bit. I feel they are gonna catch on a pant leg or ??. Will likely swap them out for the Element 50's. They don't take up as much space. But they don't interfere with foot room. At least on the drivers side.

The seating position never really bothered me until I got my 250 and drove it all the time. Driving the Taco was not comfortable any more, but now its fine.

Cut them down and wrap them in electrical shrink wrap (the kind you use for wire).

Well I just ordered two Element e50 fire extinguishers. After watching several YouTube vids on them I am sold. The runtime on them is awesome and they are non-corrosive. Will use a small QuickFist to mount them to the molle panels on each seat.

okay, now that is pretty cool.

I have not experienced a vehicle fire, so my experience says that carrying around a traditional extinguisher is not necessary. I'd like to have one in the event that it was needed, but the amount of use I would expect means that it would likely expire and need to be replaced (or recharged) to maintain functionality.

Those are more expensive, but no shelf life and no maintenance means that it might be a one and done solution. Very nice.

Yeah they are not exactly cheap but they have a much longer run time which I like. I'll keep the regular one I have now mounted in the back seat in place... JIC

I have kept an extinguisher in my vehicle for decades now. But generally they get used on small fires on the side of the road. For a while I even carried a McCloud tool to help work fires. But that was when I drove a lot for work.
