When I saw eventually I mean before he’s 2. Probably going to start when he’s 1
Yeah, the sooner you get them around other snot nosed kids the better, it builds up their immune system. I lucked out since my mom owns a daycare. Mine got tossed into the funk way earlier them most lol

Is Ginsberg dead yet? I'm not sure if I look forward to the hearings before or after November. I'm still hoping Trump's 3rd term is a governorship of CA. I'm predicting 2020 will be a good year for the Orangeman that was bred to win. Love him or hate him, I see a guy that was taught he was worthy of winning all of his life - Raise your children to KNOW that they are born to win and follow it up with the right expectations. Yeah, it will piss others off but they're just losers! lol

I have a coach (who I've paid more than $28k in the last 2 years) that has a coach who is an ex NFL guy. His son wants to play NFL and MLB. His throwing coach is the same throwing coach that Tom Brady uses and he is just a teenager. Every morning the kid is reminded that his responsibility is to be the best he can be.

Screen Shot 2019-12-07 at 11.50.03 AM.png

In one of the sports teams the teenager plays in, the coach tried to tell his kid, "Don't play so hard. Let the other kids win." The father pulled the coach aside and said, "Why don't you coach the other kids to be better than they already are."

During the last year, I've surrounded myself with a few top dogs - in nearly everything they set out to do. People that win races. People who have GREAT marriages. People that don't accept failure.

I'm not saying I have abandoned my friends but I know that if I am to get out of this life what I want, I have to surround myself with people that want the best for themselves and for their loved ones - and their closest friends.

How does this relate to Ginsberg or Trump? The more I focus on greatness, the more I can see Trump has focused on greatness and never let all of his fuckups - and he has had many - declare who he is. He's not a bankrupt real estate developer - even though he played that role for a while. Even when he was going through his downfall, he negotiated with the banks, who was using him to attempt to recapture some of their losses, to give him something like $500k per month for personal expenses.

Love him or hate him, I currently can't think of someone that has had this much of a test that hasn't cracked. I'm working on being uncrackable - and know that I have not passed far smaller tests in my life but will prepare for much bigger tests in my future. :)

Makes perfect sense. When you surround yourself with people that are better than you - you strive to get as good as them if you have an ounce of spark in you rbelly.

I know that's why I always preferred skiing with people that pushed me vs held me back.

The ignorant people who let them outdoors also need to be dealt with and or educated.

Sorry if any of you in here do let your cats outside, but for a group of guys who like the outdoors - you should look into what you are doing and it's impact.

My moms marina had a huge feral cat issue for decades. The idiot at the end of her block fed and housed them ~ Hundreds of them.

They would get all over the boats at the docks and in dry storage and destroy them. I grew up with cats and am a cat lover, but I was always a responsible owner.

Had a cat issues at my house - thing was climbing/scratching all over my car and crapping in my horseshoe pits and planting beds. No idea where it is but someone took it out because that came to an abrupt stop.

Cats are being blamed for making 7% of Australia's small reptiles extinct.

I think I watched a documentary on that years ago and it was on a "cat hunter". If my memory is right all the guy did for work was kill cats 24/7/365 and he can't keep up.

Have you ever seen the guys who put up and maintain the dingo fences? They have some pretty cool gear & trucks.

That looks like a job that would have a pretty tough work environment. Sadly I think people in North America will have to lose more small animals before we/they realize that feral and house cats are killing off millions of small animals every year. This is not hunting for food - it is pleasure/boredom killing. Sadly very little is being done to stop it.

Little off topic as always but I made the mistake of telling my mom why her dog likes squeaky toys. It mimics them killing a animal and the animal yelping in distress. She was mortified until I explained to her no matter how domesticated the animal is - they were once self sufficient wolves and thats still en-grained in their DNA. She was going to throw them all away and I told her that would not benefit the dog and could actually have a negative impact on him. He needs to play and have those interactions regardless of how much humans think they are domesticated.

Although I liked bunnies and birds better, but in the town I grew up in, we had CAT season. One farm had a cat population that some estimated to be 100+! So, before the bunnies and birds were about to be nested/born, some would go out and nail cats with .22s.

Do they etch little STOP signs in the glass? ...written in Avian of course!

it's a fairly simple process that can be done multiple ways with multiple designs. Some that humans can see and some humans can't see. Some are better than others and some less expensive than others.

In this day and age if you aren't putting bird safe glass in your building, I'd say your architect is a little outdated and is not designing the best building for you. Any architect that's "up to date" with current best building practices has known this was an issue for decades. If I was putting up a tower and this issue was not brought up in the architects planning phase I know I'd use another architect. If he's skipping that stuff - he prob is skipping a ton of other new greener practices that will pay for themselves and then some over the life of the building.

What Does 'Bird-Safe Glass' Even Mean?

The additional cost is minimal "if" it's budgeted from the beginning.

The idiots that built Minnesota's football stadium should go to jail IMHO, but since the codes are so slow to change they just get off with years of bad press and now they are going to have to retro fit the stadium with stickers on the glass that will end up costing 10x as much as just doing it right the first time.

Now can we get the bird safe glass and skin materials on planes? :)

The glass is easy. They just care more about weight and costs so they play a statistical game and decided the pilots lives the lives of the passengers aren't worth enough to put in safe glass just "in case" a bird strike happens. That said we are talking about a TON of additional weight and a TON of additional money.

For instance an A-10's canopy is rated for small arms fire, but a Eagle has a ton of mass behind it so even with a bullet resistant canopy I'm not so sure you'd be protected in that same situation.

No idea on the sheet metal.
