Any recommendations on where to order? $45 shipped seems kind of steep for a $30 part. I may call the local 4WP and see what they have, but I try to avoid giving them business.

Cleaned up some wiring. This included fixing the ground for the DVD kill switch and USB "always on" ports that were disconnected because I didn't want them to always be on. To solve that issue, I put a switch in n the cab.
I'll have to see if I can find a "before" picture, but I'm pleased with the after.
If you have one if these mictuning, chris4x4, or similar Toyota style switches and want to wire it into your dash lights and have it dim, the "red2" wire connects to the "green" wire and the "black" connects to the "green/white" wire on the fog switch.

Spent some time yesterday after work with an exterior detail.
Started with a was and clay bar. It has been a while since I washed the truck and it sits outside most of the time. No point in giving it a lot of attention during pollen season. I was amazed at how nasty the clay was by the time I was done. That alone left it looking darn near close to new (except for the shoddy finish on the repaint job on the driver door).
But, I still had some scratches to take care of...or at least attempt to remove. The HF Bauer DA polisher seems to work pretty good. I used the Chemical Guy hex 6.5" orange pad for correction with the Ultimate Compound. Followed shortly by the Ultimate Polish with the white pad.
I was amazed how some of the deeper scratches seemed to disappear while some of the smaller ones were unphased. Maybe they are deeper than I thought, or perhaps its just a learning curve. This is my first time using a DA polisher instead of an orbital buffer. Regardless, it looks a lot better up close.
I finished it off with the Hybrid Ceramic spray wax. Final pic is before the wax, but it looks pretty much the same.

Its the switch for the Ridgid lights on the front bumper. It's an odd switch that goes one way for high and the other for low. I haven't figured out a good place for it. I was keeping it in the little pull down card holder by the driver's left leg, but it wouldn't stay in there. So I pulled it up to it's current location because at least there I can find it easily. I haven't found a replacement switch that I like, but I also don't see the point in the "low" setting for those lights. So I might find another OEM style switch and just use the use the high function.
Ideally, I don't even have a separate switch for them. I'd like to have them come on with the High Beams. But then I'd have to do the fog light anytime mod...

Thought about it. That's where the old DTRL ghetto switch was located. It's too big to fit in the blank that I destroyed before. Maybe I can do some more cutting and get it to fit. I'll keep you posted because it isn't staying where it is now (said that before
).

Change out that switch to a different one that fits in that slot.

I'm really liking these products from 303.
The Protectant is the best interior cleaner that I've used. It leaves a nice gloss but isn't greasy and doesn't streak. The Tire and Rubber cleaner is just fun to use. It sprays on purple, then turns brown as it pulls the dirt out of the rubber. It'll turn white if you scrub it and then it looks like coffee running down your driveway when you rinse the tire off.
@tx_shooter , is there a way to resize an image? Any HTML or similar characters that I can put with the "ATTACH=full" command?
That's not oil or coffee. That's dirt from the tire that dripped off before I even started scrubbing. This is the third time I've used this stuff on the tires on my truck. The first time looked like I spilled used oil down my driveway it was so black. The second was still pretty bad, but not as bad as the first. Yesterday was more of a medium-dark brown as opposed to black. I think I'm actually going to spray tire shine on today even though they are nice and clean looking already.

I wonder what the dealerships use, they use that spray on everything after the car is clean or freshen up the new cars.

I just ordered that rubber cleaner.. no tire shine though. But I do appreciate a clean tire.
The next xF software update is supposed to have a scaler built into it. I tried having my regular guy do the update but he got swamped so I am trying to find a new guy.
