I think I'll order another for the main battery as well. Then we I get my lazy ass around to redoing the trailer wire, and another. It may be just snake oil but I don't think it is. I'll see how it goes, we have enough heat down here that if it is to dry out and become hard... I'll know.

Now the daunting task... how does this all go? There is more as well... a large 300 amp breaker as well. I plan to just lay it all out on paper, what needs to be connected and how. I know the battery switch needs to be closer to the bus bar. Hot bus bar gets connection to starter battery via 300 amp breaker, inverter fuse block, dual 40 amp breakers for ARB Twin compressor, Aux Beam switch panel fuse block and the Blue Seas fuse block. So some posts will be doubled up. Solar charge controller only gets connected to the Blue Seas fuse block. ARB Fridge and 400 watt inverter in the center console (not the OEM inverter.. its long gone) will also be fed from the Blue Seas fuse block. Noco shore power needs connection to Blue Seas fuse block as does the Noco battery minder in the dash. Plus more shit I am sure I am forgetting.

Ordered 4 Fastronix circuit breakers(a 60, 2 100's and a 150) to replace all the fuse blocks and current circuit breaks (not the small red ones) I am using now. One for Blue Seas fuse block, one for the Aux Beam fuse block, one for the inverter and one for the connection to the starter battery. I plan to have all lined up along the top. Thinking about mounting the inverter upside down on the bottom of the shelf. Its not something I use often (it actually will be wired into the outlet in the bed) and it comes with a remote so I could turn it on and off from up top. Hmm

Ok, all the new circuit breakers finally arrived... got some extras just in case. I have most of the wiring that goes through a tube on the rack complete. I finished up the passenger side light tabs. Went to the neighbors daughters 20th b-day party.. came back.. finished up welding the bolts for the shovel mount. Will start on the HiLift mounts tomorrow (they will mimic the traction board mounts.. just smaller)... also need to pull everything out of the bed and vacuum the steel shrapnel out of there. My knees do not like them. Called the local metal supply store this week, checking on 1/4" aluminum sheet that is 48x48.. $350. So I will call again about 1/8 or 3/16. It is for my poor mans decked system, which I have everything minus the aluminum skin for.. or at least so I think.

Progress was made.. Shovel and HiLift have a place to live. Now that all the welding on the top tube is done I will run the wires tomorrow. Still need to clean up the area where I did have an aux solar panel connector. Got it cut out but need to clean it up. It looks like shit. Oh and I will flip the jack over.

Oh and I need to sand down that area where the Steel-It got kinda thick on the tubing. I'll fix it when I fix the other spots.

Late for this comment now; but mounting the hi lift and other items at a bit of a slope would stop water from pooling & rusting.

Well they are at a bit of a slope.. and what is this "water" you speak of? I have heard tails of rain. You can see the rust dust on the HiLift, that is 13 years worth.

Fuck... installing battery tray in the toolbox. Bit grabbed into the rubber mat and went a bit deeper than planned. Have two new holes in my charcoal canister. A little JB Weld fuel tank sealer to the rescue... not my first time drilling a hole in it. Last time was about 15 years ago when I put the toolbox in the truck. Back then it was a tiny little hole... todays was a bit bigger.. and two of them. I was able to have Kenna go under there and put washers and nylocks on the bolts. Had her hold the nut with a wrench and I got em from the top with cordless ratchet. Now to go get the batteries put into place and whatever else I can get done today. Awaiting a larger stepbit to finish up the final leg of wiring on the rack, from the top down to the bottom of the passenger side front support. I will have about 12 wires exiting that hole and the step bit I used bottomed out on the other side of tubing. Got a Ron Jeremy style bit to hit the sides and not the bottom.

Got some water jugs in a place I like them. Will need to work on them a bit as its very snug, might need to heat up the container and then close the toolbox lid to clearance it. I am not 100% sure which way I want to position them either. If I mount them standing up I like the cap in the front of the truck as its easier to get to. Also, not sure what I want to use to get water out of them. Debating pressurizing them or using some sort of 12v pump. Will worry about it once the wiring is done.

you should get a small AC unit for in there just to knock off a few degrees. I got a portable one that certainly doesn't make it comfy but helps. I go and rest my balls on it every 20 minutes when it gets too hot

Got the shitty booger welds that I laid down for the external solar panel connector cleaned up and painted. I'll mount that elsewhere. Also started installing grommets in each of the holes where the wiring goes into the tubing. I'll add RTV next. Also installed a cold air intake on my friends 2016 M3... meh.. you can hear turbo noises through it.. no pics. Its fucking hot. Was hoping for a bit more but the heat index is 108. I'll probably break out the vacuum and clean up metal shavings in the bed so I can do some overhead wiring tomorrow without perforating my knees.
