You are correct, I could sell them for 4x what I had paid now lol

And in 10 more years they will be worth even more, California said no more new gas cars lol.

Got the tires on the S60 rotated. Fastest service I've ever had at discount tire since it was really slow. In and out in 20 mins.

Picked up the farm truck this afternoon from my mechanic today, he had the drive shafts rebalanced and corrected a few of the others things that were noted during inspection report prior to me purchasing the truck.

Low side service port means the valve core was leaking. Usually just needs 1/8th of a turn to get it to stop.

thats an expensive bill to turn the valve core lol
Shocked that no other shop could notice it when it was taken in years ago, but hey. At least it’s fixed now.

In other news, my Tundra got looked at this morning for the 4x4. I drove it all the way to Fort Worth with the 4Hi light flashing at me and was unable to get it to quit. This morning the shop called me to ask me what the problem is because it’s shifting in and out of 4x4 normally. Da fuq?

It’s been broken for over 2 years! Guy said the tech is going to call me and see if they can find any ECU faults

yeah it's important to engage the 4wd system monthly and dive it for a couple miles, is this the grey truck you got from your dad?

I think there is an electronic actuator on the transfer case, that can be intermittent and faulty at times, not sure if that is capable of throwing a code on the older Tundras. Otherwise save this link, Cable Shifter Triple, NP205-ORD Magnum Doubler

I'm probably gonna sell the 2015 Ferd off, its been a really good truck.

I still need to buy 2 other cars for the boys, I'm leaning towards maybe a couple used corollas or civics, I'm having a hard time finding clean, maintained used vehicles period.

Borrowing my BIL’s trailer to go get the mower tomorrow. Was looking for my 2-5/16” hitch and realized all of mine were in pretty bad shape. Most of them are 30+ years old and a couple were homemade. So I upgraded and combined them all.

the 4x4 ECMs don't talk to the PCMs in the older vehicles, so yes there will be no code to check

It's the easiest fix and always overlooked/not found. It should be the first damn thing check any time you open the service caps.

Yeah, the 2011 I inherited from him. It was broken even before it became my truck. The 4x4 was used frequently as it is the ranch truck, but it all of a sudden started working intermittently and then quit altogether.

Hey do any of you have a solution for replacement battery terminals that allow the addition of accessories to bolt to them? My stock terminals on the Tacoma are stretched out and unable to crimp down snuggly onto the battery posts.

Except on the Lexy it does, and will trigger a warning light on the dash as well. I'm glad that actuator was covered under warranty.

There are a bunch of aftermarket terminals with additional terminal lugs for this application, @Silverback runs a ton of stuff off his battery, he can probably recommend a product better than me.

Tommy want wingy..
Been chasing a code for a malfunctioning MAF sensor. Changed the sensor, same result. I suppose it could be the Spectre Maf adapter tube with the interchangeable inserts to change the ID. I guess the wriing is next up. anyone have a link to a2rz/3rz Maf 5 wire plug pinout with wire color codes?
